Log Haven's Meet the Makers and Dog Days of Summer Contest

Log Haven in Millcreek Canyon is hosting “Meet The Makers on May 19, 5:30-7 p.m.. It's an opportunity to get better acquainted with the people behind Utah's local artisan foods. Producers who will be on hand are: Summit County Beef, Beehive Cheese, Kiler Grove Winery, Eco Fruits, Kenyon Organics and Creminelli Fine Meats. All of these “makers” will have samples to try.  The cost is $5 per person.

Also, your Dog Days of Summer essay could win a dinner for four at Log Haven.  Every summer, Log Haven allows people to dine on the patio with their (well-behaved) dogs, with a canine-appropriate meal for the dog as well.  This event has become known as “Dog Days of Summer.”   
The restaurant is inviting young adults, age 13-18 to submit a 200-word essay with a photo of your dog, on “Why My Dog Loves Log Haven.” Contest deadline is May 21, with  the winner announced May 26.
