UNION GRILL IN OGDEN CELEBRATES 20 YEARS TODAY

The Union Grill in Ogden is celebrating 20 years in business today.

Owners Pete and Kym Buttschardt will celebrate today with from 6 p.m. until dusk at Union Station Fountain Plaza, on 15th Street and Wall Avenue. It's an old-fashioned outdoor block party for everyone with  hula-hoop contests, hopscotch matches and oodles of bubbles. The Tumble Bus will roll into down town and Nurture the Creative Mind will be there to showcase talented kids.

There will be  juicy burgers and 'dogs, locally grown, ripe tomatoes stuffed with chicken salad, and cookies. The band, "Working in Shifts" is going to rock the block. Trudy from Poppin' Johnny and their ice cream-making tractor will serve up the sweet treats, all-time favorite Roosters Root Beer or Orange Soda Floats.  Of course Roosters brews will be available as well.

The party will continue at Union Grill until August with free Kid's Meals, Anniversary Grill's Pils pints for a mere $2, and Dine for 2 for only $20 deals.
